As a lifelong resident of Minnesota real estate in South Minneapolis' Lake of the Isles, Edina, Minnetonka and Plymouth area, I have learned a few things. Minnesota is more than an address; it is a culture that has very specific rules and preferred etiquette when it comes to the buying or selling process. The best description I ever heard to describe us was “Minnesotan's don’t car pool”. Minnesotan's are fiercely independent, make well-educated decisions, very innovative, community oriented and take an interest in local politics.
