I spent 18 years in the technical branch of banking with CBT down through the merger with Bank Boston. I survived Y2K, all computer rooms ran!In 2001 I left Fleet/Bank Boston to both update my home and get my REALTORS license. Since then, I have been working with First Choice Realty, llc. I am also a Stained Glass Artisan and have been for 34 years. I owned a business on Main Street Willimantic for 3 years and then at home till present. The business name is Willimantic Art Glass Studio and I specialize in repair and design of windows and lampshades. My passion has always been housing, specifically early houses. I owned a home in Coventry which was built in 1780/1830, that I (we) restored in 1975. I now own a four square Craftsman home built in 1927 which I returned to original state. Fortunately, I know the daughter in law of the family who built the house. She was able to share info about the family and what the house looked like thru the years as she owned it many times. My dream is to own a priarie or bungalow home, preferrably in Willimantic. Though I would not bypass Stony Creek beach in the Branford area.I am a board member of and active member in the Willimantic Victorian Neighborhood Association and am also on the Home Tour Committee.I am a member of the Windham Textile and History Museum and the Nationioal Trust for Historic Preservation and CT Trust for Historic Preservation. I have the designation of CT Trust Trained REALTOR.I have earned the Short Sale Foreclosure Resource Certification and e-PRO designation. I am a senior citizen and proud of it, and enjoy working with first time homeowners. And of couse, anyone who loves OLD Houses!I am an extremly proud mother of 4 and grandma of 6. and of course lover of all their fine pets.. I have lived in Willimantic for about 30 years and in my present home 25 of them.
