PO Box 30 , Hanover , NH
I was born and brought up in England and Scotland and came to the U.S. with a friend for what was intended to be a 6 months visit! I had worked in advertising in England, and got a job at Newsweek Magazine when I arrived in New York. That was an extremely exciting time and a very fun job, and I did not leave at the end of 6 months! After two years in NYC I met my artist husband, Bob and we moved to Philadelphia. In 1977 we moved to Scotland for what turned into a 10 year stay. We have two daughters, both of whom live in New York. In 1990 we discovered the Hanover area with its fabulous schools, and wonderful quality of life. We have loved every minute that we've been here -- there's a fabulous mix of interesting people and a healthy lifestyle, with many interesting things to do. The Hopkins Center and Hood Museum of Art at Dartmouth College are a wonderful resource for world class entertainment, and we have thoroughly enjoyed both.I went into real estate with Martha Diebold 15 years ago and have found it to be a varied and exciting profession. If you enjoy people, you couldn't do anything more fun! Everything I ever did before going into real estate has been useful in the profession -- whether it's writing advertising copy or listening to people's life stories, it's different every day and endlessly interesting. The focus for me in real estate is on trying to help people find "just the right place" -- no matter how long it takes! I try to treat my clients as I would a member of my family, and as a result have made many friends through real estate!
